September Members Meeting - with Sally-Ann Hart

As we return from our summer break join us this September for our member’s meeting, where we welcome back Sally-Ann Hart for the first time in nearly 2 years. Following her successful re-election as the Conservative candidate for the election, expected late next year, we have plenty to hear about and discuss.

 When we last met with her in November 2021, we were still wrestling with the implications of Brexit and were in the midst of a global pandemic. The discussion focused on protecting public health and our local economy, with plans to get people back into work and ‘Building Back Better’.

 Little did we know what was still to come: the largest European conflict since World War II; sparking an energy crisis that helped fuel global inflation further; and the cost-of-living crisis we are still struggling with today.

 The meeting will take place at the Hastings Centre on the Ridge and will include our usual friendly style of informal networking over some breakfast before we hear from Sally-Ann Hart, with more opportunities to network afterwards.
