November Members Meeting - with Cllr Paul Barnett

Hastings Borough Council Budget & Strategic Plan for 2024

You will, no doubt, be aware of the current financial difficulties of Hastings Borough Council.  Due to these pressures, the Council are bringing forward their annual budget and consultation with the business community.   

Given their timescales we have had to change our November plans and pull our traditional New Year meeting forward to accommodate this. 

We will be joined by the Leader of the Council, Cllr Paul Barnett, who will deliver their annual Budget and Corporate Plan for Hastings Borough Council covering their financial position, what this means for the town and what they are doing to redress matters.   This is a consultation process, so the presentation will be followed by a Q&A when you will have your opportunity to provide feedback and input to these plans and proposals.

The meeting will take place at the Hastings Centre on the Ridge and will include our usual friendly style of informal networking over some breakfast before we hear from Cllr Paul Barnett with more opportunities to network afterwards.
