Seaview offers practical help, advice, and support to those who are marginalised and most at risk. Working with people over the age of 16 years with no upper age limit, our services are open access and no appointments are needed.
Many of our service users have chaotic lifestyles and include those affected by homelessness, mental health issues, substance and alcohol misuse, personality disorders, a history of contact with the Criminal Justice System, social and basic life skills deficits (including illiteracy), and those needing social contact to combat loneliness. Over two-thirds of the client group have a combination of two or more of the above issues.
We operate a range of Outreach services meeting people where they are at and inviting them into Seaview to access support services alongside opportunities to get involved with healthy and creative activities.
Furthermore, Seaview works in partnership with a range of agencies and is committed to raising the profile of our service users within the community. Our services are free, confidential and non-judgmental.
Our open-access wellbeing centre is open to all adults for comfort, friendship, advice and support. We’ve been helping people get back on their feet since 1985 and this pertains to current day during the cost of living crisis.
